OPEN HANDICAP TOURNEY Arrangements for the open handicap tournament for ladies anil men. were considered at the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Table Tenuis Association last evening. It was decided to hold the event nest was granted, the Y.XI.C.A. Club to control an open handicap tournament at tho Y.M.C.A. on September 25 and 27. _ The committee discussed the forthcoming annual match between Auckland and \\eUinaton, to be played at Wellington early in September. The following players were nominated for the Auckland team: —r. Paton. J. Stony, Munna, Cleal. Burke. Stallworthy, Swift, Woods, Stowell. Mr. J. C. Herbert was appointed manager. It, was reported that the New Zealand championships would be played on September 10 and 11.
