CONSPIRACY CHARGE
TWO MEN REMANDED Charges of conspiring by deceit to obtain from tho Postmaster-General on or about July 16 the sura of 10s 8d were preferred against Raymond Brimion, aged 27, fisherman, and Charles Joseph De Luca, aged ii 7, grocer, in the Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. Accused were represented by Mr. Hall Skelton and Mr. Sullivan respectively. In applying for a remand until August 27, Senior-Detective Hall said there was only one charge against Brunton, but a number of other charges would be preferred against De Lnca. Do Luca's bail was fixed at £IOO, and Bri.inton's at £SO.
