UNOFFICIAL BOYCOTT LANCASHIRE AND AUSTRALIA LONDON. August 13 An unofficial boycott of Australian dairy produce has been begun in some sections of the community of Lancashire as a retort to Mr. J. A. Lyons' announcement in his Budget speech that Australia intended to impose tariffs on cotton to assist the local industry. The bovcott began spontaneously at Bolton and other small cotton 1 towns, and is threatening to spread to Manchester and Salford.
