FALL FROM FIRE ESCAPE
YOUNG WOMAN INJURED ACCIDENT AT DUNEDIN [BY TELEGBAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Tuesday Serious injuries were received about 11.30 last night by a married woman, Pearl Greig, aged about 23 years, of Cumberland Street, when she fell from a fire escape on the second floor of the Criterion Hotel. The police, in view of the woman's condition, have not yet ascertained how the accident occurred. It is understood that she was endeavouring to leave the hotel, in which she had booked a room earlier in the same day, and fell 30ft., fracturing one leg and suffering scalp wounds and internal injuries.
