The engagement is announced of Betty Marion, second daughter of Mr. J. W. F. Jones and the late Mrs. .Jones, of Pakaraka, Bay of Islands, to Jack Broxholme, only son of Captain H. M. Bush worth and Mrs. llusliworth, Pakaraka, Bay of Islands. Notices of engagements for publication in the Herat/d must be signed bv both parties to the engagement. A charge of 5s is made for each notice.
