PAKURANGA HUNT

MEET AT FLAT BUSH The Pakuranga Hunt met at Flat Bush school. East Tamaki. yesterday. Somewhat showery weather was experienced at the commencement, but the going was good and there was an excellent scent. Hounds threw off in Mr. E. Blake's property. and worked through an area of bush without finding a hare. The hunt then crossed the road into Mr. C. Rutherford's property, and a hare was started, which crossed the properties of Mr. W. Ormiston and Mr. E. Blake. The hare then made for the bush, but was forded away by the hounds on to Mr. McQuoid's land. It later entered barred country and was lost. Another hare was started on Mr. Ross' farm. It took the hunt across the properties of Mr. E D Knapping. Mr. G. Gillard and Mr. Spyre, when the scents became mixed and hounds were whipped off. A final hare waß put up on the property of Mr. T. Brady, and after crossing the farms of Mr. T. Hancock. Mr. C. Sutclifle and Mr, H. Upton, it was killed on Mr Hancock's property. Among the followers were:—The master, Mr. H.
