POSTAL SERVICE DELAYS
MOUNT ROSKILL COMPLAINT * A complaint regarding tho postal delivery services in some parts of the district was made by Mr. J. Barclay at a meeting of the Mount Roskill Road Board last night. "Recently a letter from Hamilton took five days to reach me," he said. "Part of Mount Roskill is designated Avondale .South and numerous cases of delay occur. Moreover, residents have to go to Avondale to collect parcels too large for delivery." The board decided to draw tho attention of the postal .authorities to the matter.
