STOLEN SAFE KEY
GAOL FOR RECEIVING t MAN AT NEW PLYMOUTH [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION 1 ] NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday Sentence of three years' imprisonment, concurrently with a term of five years now being served, was imposed on James Patrick Burke by Mr. Justice Blair to-day for receiving a stolen safe key. A verdict of "not guilty" was returned on three charges of breaking and entering and the theft of £l4, attempted breaking and entering, and the theft of a key. Burke was arrested for drunkenness at Blenheim and the key and explosives were found in his bag. Burke, it stated, had 18 previous convictions.
