TOUR BY RICHMOND CLUB TARANAKI AND HAWKE'S BAY MATCH AGAINST NORTHLAND I The offer of the Richmond Club to piny exhibition matches in Tarannki and Hawke's 31 ay was accepted at Inst evening's meeting of the Auckland Rugby League. Herring. A deputation from tho Mount Albeit Club asked for consideration of senior status for next season. Mr. 11. G. Shaw, secretary of the club, stated that, the district had a large area and excellent support was promised. Mr. Campbell said the constitution of tho League permitted for the nominations from sijc senior clubs only, and it would require a notice of motion to rescind the constitution next season. The request, however, of tho deputation for a nomination in this season's Roope Rooster competition was acceded to. It was decided to play a senior match at Otahnhu on Saturday next between City and Marist. The Northl'ind League advised that its representative team would travel to Auckland by specinl train on August 11. The visitors will play Auckland on that date nnd leave for New Plymouth on the following Tuesday. The junior board advised that short time had been played in a third grade game between Marist and Manukau. It was decided to order a replay later in tho season. The oiler of Mr. J. F. W. Dickson to donate two gold medals for senior and junior players was accepted with thanks. The management committee will determine the allocation of tho medals. On the recommendation of the junior board it was decided to play the Mount Albert nnd Otahuhu second grade teams as a curtain-raiser to the Auckland v. Northland match. Applications for reinstatement from l<. J. Nnde.n and J. G. Whoreky were forwarded to the New. Zealand Council for favourable consideration. G. H. Dawson was registered as a senior member with the Newton CJ.ub. The New Zealand Council advised of the transfer of C. White from Auckland to the Northland League.
