NEW LYNN ASSESSMENTS
An election of a borough assessor for Assessment Court, sittings was held at a- meeting of ratepayers at New Lynn on Tuesday night. Mr. A. B. Smith, of Tit'irangi Road, New Lynn, was elected, tho unsuccessful candidates being Messrs. R. Hunter> R. Wright and G. H. Grayson. The appointment is for three years.
