DOUGLAS SOCIAL CREDIT
The formation of 14 new branches of the Douglas social credit movement in the Tauranga district was reported at a meeting of tho Auckland branch on Monday evening. Tho Mayor of Tauranga, Mr. A. F. Tunics, is president of tho Tauranga branch. It was'stated that progress in this area had been due to the efforts of Mr. S. J. E. Closev and Mr. Moffatt. It was reported that Mr. H. Campbell had been touring tho Kaipara district, and was going to Whangarei shortly to build up tho movement there. A resolution to assist tho Free Speech Council was passed unanimously. . _
