PIANIST'S LONG CONTRACT
[by telegraph—OWN correspondent] DTTPTEDIN, Tuesday I\rr. Leff Pouishnoff, the Russian pianist who is visiting IS'ew Zealand* has contracted with Mr. Hugo Larsen, t the conductor of his present tour, for a 20 years' engagement. The contract guarantees Mr. Pouishnoff 156 concerts each year. An insurance policy of £20,000 on the artist's hands was taken over by Mr. Larson when the contract was signed here. This is said to be the first occasion on which so important a musical engagement has been completed locally.
