DEAD IN MOTOR-CAR
AUSTRALIAN COUPLE RIFLE NEAR THE BODIES (Received July 20, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 20 Henry Maxwell Foreman, aged 23, of Coralbingie station, Trangie, and Miss Jean Carmen, who was librarian at the Trangie School of Arts, were found dead this afternoon in a motor-car on a road eight miles from Warren. It is stated that their deaths were due to bullet wounds, the shots having been fired from a rifle. The bodies were found huddled together on the seat of the car and the rifle lay near them. Deceased were very well known in the district. They were seen at polo games at Trangie on Wednesday, but disappeared from the grounds and had not been seen again up to the time they were found dead. According to the police Foreman borrowed a rifle from a relative last Friday. It is thought this was the weapon found in the car.
