DAMAGED BY LIGHTNING
RADIO AT LIGHTHOUSE [bt telegraph—riiEss association] WELLINGTON* Tuesday Advice has been received by the Marine Department that the radio receiver at the Puysegur Point lighthouse has been damaged beyond repair by lightning. A new receiver will be sent by the Government steamer Matai, which is now making an inspection of southern lighthouses. The transmitter was not damaged.
