TRADE RELATIONS
BRITAIN AND ESTONIA MUTUAL CONCESSIONS (Received July 15, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, July 14 The new trade agreement between Britain and Estonia will come into force 10 days after the exchange of ratifications and will last until the end of 1936, after which it wilt be subject to denunciation at six months' notice. The treaty provides for the maintenance of the most-favoured-nation treatment toward-Estonia, particularly in regard to agricultural products, in which respect the United Kingdom's undertakings are similar to those contained in the agreement with Scandinavian countries.
In return Estonia provides new facilities for imports from Britain, reduces the duties on textiles, coal and other goods, and undertakes to take 85 per cent of her coal imports from the United Kingdom. A promise is also made to encourage the use of British shipping:
