REFEREE KNOCKED DOWN SCENE AT LEICHHARDT (Received July 15 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 15 In a wrestling contest at the Leiohhardt Stadium last evening the Russian referee Tom Lurich was nearly knocked out in the Inst round by one of the competitors, Tommy Nylan, who twice knocked Lurich down with angry swings to the face and body.
