VIENNA IN DARKNESS
STOPPAGE OF ELECTRICITY CONTRADICTORY REPORTS (Received July 15, 6.15 p.m.) VIENNA, July 15 Half the city was plunged into darkness at midnight when the trams as well as radio broadcasting were stopped. It is officially stated that the cause of the stoppage was the rupture of an overhead cable outside tho city. Unofficially it is reported that the pylons were dynamited. To-day is the anniversary of tho Socialist revolt in 1927, when the palace of justice was burned.
