MANUREWA CROQUET
THE ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Manurewa Croquet Club was held in the pavilion recently. Mrs. Coxhead presided. The report and balance-sheet showed the club had enjoyed a most successful year, both socially and financially. Congratulations were extended to Mrs. Gallaher on her victory at the Auckland tournament.
A trophy donated by Mrs. K. Finlayson was won by Mrs. Rees. Mr- Forbes was presented with a eift by the president, Mrs. Coxhead, on behalf of the club, in appreciation of his untiring efforts in connection with his work as green superintendent, in which capacity he had consented to act during the coming season. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year-President, _ Mrs. Coxhead ((re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs. J. Whitten and Mrs. Finlay; honorary secretary, Mrs. B. Rees; honor* ary treasurer, Mrs. W. Brown (reelected) ; general committee. Mrs. A. Collie, Mrs. Graham, Mrs. R. Forbes, Mrs. Fen wick, and Mrs. Gallaher; match committee, Mrs. Fenwick, Mrs. Gallaher and Mrs, Coxhead; delegates to the South Suburban Croquet Association and to the Auckland association, Mrs. R. Forbes and Airs, Coxhead; green supervisor, Mr. R. Forbes; coach, Mrs. Forbes.
