YESTEFIDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges, and the return from investment at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is not included in the calculation of returns. The yield on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption and that on 3J per cent loans is for interest alone and covers only the period for which the loans are taxfree.

THE MINING MARKET INCREASE IN DEALING TIN SHARES CHANGE HANDS Increased business was done in mining shares on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Inquiry was a shade easier and fractional losses were recorded in transfers of Brian Borus, Nevis Diesel and Skippers. Waihi Junctions sold Id higher at 4s 3d and Gillespie's Beach also were slightly firmer on sale. After a quiet period tin shares changed hands at prices showing little movement.
