AMERICA'S GREAT DAY CONSUL CELEBRATES In commemoration of America's great day the Consul for the United States, Mr. 'Walter Bovle, and Mrs. Boyle entertained a large number of guests at a luncheon given in the Reception Hall of Milne and Choyce yesterday. Against the soft pastel colouring of the walls the decorations of golden narcissi and Iceland poppies looked very charming, and Mrs. Boyle was as well the recipient of many lovely bouquets of violets from her friends. An orchestra provided incidental music, and 0110 or two songs wore sung. The guests included members of the Consular Corps and their wives, representative citizens. and heads of various local organisations, religious, social, commercial, etc. Mrs. Boyle was wearing a reseda green Angora frock with a cape to match, small green hat and green shoes.
