REPLY TO BRITISH ACT ECONOMIC REPRISALS BERLIN, July 3 The Gorman Cabinet lias adopter! a law* authorising economic reprisals against countries that introduce compulsory measures against Germany. The Cabinet also intends to pass a law authorising an amendment to the Customs tariffs and empowering the Minister of National Economy to immediately enforce emergency measures. The new legislation coincides with the enforcing of the moratorium on debt transfers.
This is regarded as a counter-move to Britain's clearing-bouse scheme for the collection of German debts contained in the Debts Clearing Office and Imports Restrictions Reprisals Bill passed last week.
