NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL NEW CLUBS AFFILIATED RECORD NUMBER OF NINETEEN The following new clubs, which had duly made application, were elected members of the New Zealand Golf Association at the monthly meeting of the council: —Jvarori Golf Club, Wellington; Silverstream College Golf Club, Silverstream, Wellington; Waikare Golf Club, Te Kauwhata. This makes tho total number of clubs elected in the present financial year 19, which is a record number of new clubs for any year.

The draft of the proposed New Zealand championship programme a3 submitted by the Wanganui Golf Club was boforo the council, which confirmed all the recommendations made by the sub-committeo.
