YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New.Zealand Stock Exchanges, and the return from'invest-* mont at the quoted price. Tho oxchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is not included in the calculation of returns. The yield on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption and that on 3} per cent loans is for interest alone and covers only the period for which tho loans are taxfree. AUCKLAND EXCHANGE

THE MINING MARKET SOME ISSUES IMPROVE ACTIVITY IN SKIPPERS Fluctuations in the levels of mining shares were of fairly narrow extent on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Moderate business was done. Waihis had sale lid better at 32s 9d and Skippers were active a shade firmer at. 81d. Dealings in Golden Dawns and Waitahus were at easier rates, Id in the case of the former and 4d in tho latter. Gillespie's Beach were substantially stronger with inquiry 3d higher at Is lOd to offers of Is lid, and King Solomons also hardened, a rise of Id in offers to 3s lOd receiving a selling quotation similarly firmer at 4s.
