DEATH OF TRAPPER
FUNERAL OF THE VICTIM OPENING OF INQUEST [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] MASTERTON, Tuesday The body of tho trapper, Mr. Alfred Young, who was found dead on the Tararua Ranges on Sunday, was brought to Greytown about two o'clock yesterday afternoon by a party in charge of Constablo A. Gregor. A postmortem examination was conducted at the Greytown Hospital by Dr. Berney. Later, an inquest was opened before the coroner, Mr. Laing. Evidence of identification was given by a brother of deceased, and the inquest was adjourned to Juno 27. Tho funeral took place at Greytown to-day.
