BITTEN BY CENTIPEDE
MAGISTRATE'S EXPERIENCE Mr. W. A. Flynn, a magistrate, while on his way from Manly, Sydney, to the city recently, was bitten by a centipede. When the ferry 011 which he was travelling was abreast of Fort Macquarie he felt a pain in his right leg and discovered a black centipede about five or six inches long. He killed it and with a phial of iodine treated two small punctures in his leg. In the course of the morning, Mr. Flynn, who was dealing with a number of cases in Court, developed headache and pains in the right leg and shoulder, but continued the hearing of the cases.
