THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
VISIT TO ROTORUA The Governor-General, Lord Bledis-* loe, attended the Rugby football at Eden Park on Saturday afternoon. Yes-< terday morning His Excellency wasl present at divine service in St. Mary's Cathedral, and in the afternoon at-j tended the special service at the rangi Soldiers' Memorial Church. Mrj C. T. P. Ulm was His Excellency's, guest at afternoon tea at Government; House. In the evening Lord JBledis'oei attended the Spurgeon centenary ser-i vice in the Town Hall.
To-day His Excellency will leave for', Rotorua to join Lady Bledisloe, who! left for Rotorua on Saturday to spend; a week completing the recuperation 00 lier health after her recent indisposi-' tion. His Excellency will spend two days! fishing and shooting in the Rotorua dis«, trict. At the end of the week Theirs Excellencies will return to Auckland.
