DULIEU'S TEAM OF THREE FORM' of prince colossus ■RIDING ENGAGEMENTS The Taranaki contingent of competitors for the To Kniti Racing Club's .Annual Meeting, to be held at Te l\ apa to-morrow and on Monday, arrived at Te 11-ipa by train yesterday. H. Dulieu, of Xew Plymouth, brought Prince Colossus, Count Lendrof!" and Leo Colossus, and J. Fryer, of Hawcva, Silk Sox and Stanchion. Priurc Colossus is a fancied candidate for the President's Handicap, in which ]ie is to be ridden by \V. F.. Pine. Prince Colossus is a solid customer, who lias latch run several good races, and lie is again likelv to be prominent. The hurdler Count Lendroff performed verv crediablv at AYanganui last week and. as, he should havtv dcrive<l some benefit fiom the racing, it is quite on the cards that lie may do a little better in the Te Kuiti Hurdles to-
morrow. Tho hurdler Stanchion displayed definite signs of improvement when he finished strongly to get third in tho Century Hurdles at AYanganui and. although he did not do quite ns well ou the second day. his performances indicated that he may yet make a capable performer over fences. Stanchion's early attempts in hurdle races were by no means encouraging, but he is gaining confidence in his fencing and may continue to show improvement. Other arrivals yesterday were Exaggeration, Mungatoon and Lagoon. The 'following Takanini trainers will travel to Te Papa to-day: —F. Smith, with Giyeek Cold, Poval Gallant and Expectancy; P. K. Pope, Gay Sheila, Alpinus, Speed mint and Diversion; C. Morse, Arch Ruler and Bellkyrian: J. Cruse, Bally Money and Notamint, and AV. H.
