FAMOUS MASTERPIECES NEARLY £IOO,OOO REALISED (Received May 13. 5E p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, May 12 The biggest sale of paintings since 1930 has been taking place during the week at Christie's in London, where the famous Hirsch Brothers collection of masterpieces has been submitted to auction.
The sale realised nearly £IOO,OOO. Buyers from all parts of the world were represented.
