DANCE AT TAKAPUNA

An invitation dance, organised by the' Fleur do Lys Girls' Club, in connection with St. Peter's Anglican Church at Takapuna, was held in the Parish Hall on Saturday evening, a very large gathering of young people being present. The guests were received on arrival by the president, Mrs. 11. Haiiey Trill, who wore a frock of chartreuse green taffeta and pink georgette. The club colours of green and white were attractively used as a colour scheme in the hall and 011 the stage. The committee comprised:—Miss Louise Williamson (secretary), Miss Biddy Foote, Miss Ruth Foote, Miss Dorothy Mills and Miss Leslie Woods. Among those present were: —Miss Marjorie Brown, Miss Joan Brown, Miss Gwen Howe, Miss Dorothy Eastdown, Miss Barbara Ellis, Miss Merle Crosslev Miss Gwenda Andrews.
