Sister Lcwin gave an address, in the course of which she urged women to regard themselves as individuals able to form independent judgment and to rise above the confining'; influences of fear, jealousy, house-pride and other crippling states of consciousness. Hammond, Pat Duggan, Hay Notten, Hazel Reid, Thyra Ferguson. Jean Sutton, Florence Walley. M. Ward and Mr. S. Stephenson. The accompanist was Madam Morris.

Mrs. H. P. Berry, hi the absence of the president, Mrs. J. H, Carr, welcomed the guests, and emphasised the need of creator financial help, for the mission work in the Solomon Islands. On behalf, of the auxiliary, Miss Penn presented Mrs. Winstone with a bouquet of autumn flowers.. Songs by Mrs. Otter and Miss Olive ; Worgcr-Thomas, pianoforte solo h.v Mrs. Winstone, a recitation by Miss Joy Bishop, unci a competition were enjoyed. The offering, which was dedicated by Rev. J. H. Allen, amounted to over £ls.
