BRASS BAND CONTEST
RAIN CAUSES POSTPONEMENT Unfavourable weather on Saturday afternoon resulted in the postponement of the brass band contest scheduled to be held on the Domain Cricket Ground. The decision to postpone the fixture was not made until 1.30 p.m., after a number of bandsmen and members of the public had arrived on the ground. The contest will probably bo held next Saturday afternoon.
