BIBLE SUNDAY
OBSERVANCE BY CHURCHES Yesterday Mas observed in many city and suburban churches as Bible Sunday, tho Bible being taken as tho subject for sermons. In a number of instances reference was made to tho remarkable advance achieved in recent years in tho propagation of tho Bible, largely owing to the efforts of tho British and Foreign Bible Society, whose activities are world-wide. In addition to addresses given in churches a service for children, with special references to the Biblo, was broadcast from station IYA.
