FOOTBALLERS INJURED
TWO PLAYERS IN HOSPITAL A Rugby League footballer, Herbert Thompson, suffered concussion at Carlaw Park on Saturday afternoon when he collided with another player during the progress of the Devon port-Ponson by senior match. The injured man, who resides at 48 Tutanekai Road, Grey Lynn, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious.
Concussion was also suffered by another League footballer, Clifford AMiitehouse, aged 26, of Panic 11 Road, who was injured during a game at Mangcre. After the match he returned to his homo, but later became ill and was taken in a St. John ambulance to tin' Auckland Hospital. He is not in a serious condition..
