LEAGUE OF EMPIRE
SIR J. PARR'S SPEECH NEW ZEALAND'S REGARD (Received April 22, 6.35 p.m.) LONDON, April 21 The B'igh Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Parr, speaking at the annual meeting of the League of Empire, isaid New Zealanders took off their hats to Britons for the manner in which they had come through the depression. He paid a tribute to the league for its hospitality to the Dominion teachers on their visit to Britain, whence they had returned filled with reverence for this historic land.
