A meeting of settlers at Raglan was attended by the visitors. A desire to have the district and town of Raglan served with power was expressed by several speakers. Representatives of the board stated that the district had been canvassed thoroughly, but the response had been disappointing, the guarantees of revenue forthcoming tieing considerably less than the minimum required to warrant the capital expenditure.
