COMING ENGAGEMENTS The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, will this morning pay a visit of inspection to H.M.S. Laburnum. This afternoon he will open the new home for animals that has been established at Penrose by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Later TTi<; Excellency will visit the Auckland Golf Club's li-nks at Middlemore to present the Kirk-Windeyer Cup to the winners of the contest between New Zealand and New South Wales. Lord Bledisloe will attend at St, Matthew's Church to-morrow afternoos the service which is being held there to consecrate the banner of the New Zealand branch of the Old Contemptible: Association. On Monday His Excellency will leave Auckland on a short visit to the Rotorua district. His Excellency 'will lay the founda-tion-stone of the new National Art Gal' lery and Dominion Museum in Well' ington on Saturday, April 14. He will leave Auckland by the limited express on Friday evening, returning from Wellington on Sunday evening.
