SHOPS BROKEN INTO PREMISES AT KEREPEEHI [llY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] THAMES, Friday The Thames police have received information that business premises at Kerepeehi were broken into late last night or early this morning by a thief or thieves, who disturbed the contents of the shops, but so far no information as to the removal of any goods has been supplied to the police. The premises entered were those of the Economic Stores, Limited, grocers and general storekeepers; Thompson Brothers, butchers; and the Hauraki Plains Meat Company, butchers. 1 An attempt was also made to enter the post office, and private letter boxes were interfered with. All the shops were entered from the back.
