Ringworm of the scalp is a serious condition, because unless thorough treatment is given in the early stages, then the condition may take months and even y6ars to cure. The disease.is very infectious (therefore do not _let a child affected by it use other children s towels, clothes, etc.), very difficult to cure, and so should be under skilled medical treatment.
