MERCANTILE AUXILIARY
The monthly luncheon of the Mercantile Auxiliary Club was held yesterday, the guest of honour being Miss Elsie Jennings, vice-president of tho club, whose marriage is to take place shortly. A happy interlude was the presentation of a hand-bag to Miss .Jennings, by Mrs. Ifwersen, president of the club", who expressed, on behalf of tho members, their good wishes for tho future. Members were reminded that their subscription, which is represented by some new woollen articles of clothing for distribution among the poor, was duo, and it was further decided to immediately commence work 011 the annual' clothes drive. Present at luncheon were Mrs. M. Ifwersen, Miss JO. Jennings, Miss Joyce Dickey, Miss Esme Ifwersen, Miss Jean Reynolds, Miss Hilda Dickey, Miss Laura Edgar, Miss Edna Thomas, Miss Ivie Jennings, Miss Mona Boyd, Miss..
