THEFT OF BICYCLES
YOUNG MAN IMPRISONED Appearing for sentence, Clarence Levi Jackson, aged 31, was charged before Mr. W. It. McKean, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday, with stealing a bicycle, the property of Stephen Carter, on February 15., and another bicycle, the property of Reginald Harding, on February 17. Asked if he had anything to say, accused explained that ho was under the influence of liquor at the timo of the offences. In sentencing accused to two months' imprisonment, the magistrate said he had been punished on previous occasions, but had not benefited from the experience.
