SHEEPSKINS STOLEN
OFFENCE AT CAMBRIDGE FINE OF £1 IMPOSED [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday A charge of stealing two sheepskins, valued at 8s lOd, the property of Mati Matzrosevich, skin buyer, of Cambridge, was made against Norman James Hall, a rabbiter, in the Police Court to-day, before Messrs. A. H. Nicoll and C. W. Boyce, J.P.'s.
Accused, who pleaded not guilty, said that he was in Matzrosevich's yard one Sunday afternoon when a stranger camo along and sold him two sheepskins for ss. Hall substituted them for two better ones in Matzrosevich's depot and sold them to another firm for 7s 6d. • Accused was fined £1 and costs.
