TIRED OF THE DOLE
MEN ASK FOR WORK The unemploved at Otford, New South Wales, are tired of receiving the dole, and want to give service for it. This information was given by a deputation from Otford ciliizens, which waited upon the Bulli Councd recently. Questioned as to the percentage of dole recipients who would rather work than receive the dole for no service, the president of the Ottord Progress Association said it was a unanimous decision. The Otford workers, while the relief scheme was in operation, naa effected wonderful improvements m their village.
