31A C DON A LD—M A CKENZIIO The marriage took place recently at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Levin, of Sybil Betty, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Stuart Mackenzie, to Dr. William James Macdonald, of Wellington. The Rev. D. Fraser officiated. and Miss Anderson played the wedding music. The church Mas decorated with blue hydrangeas, pink gladioli and sweet i>eas, and the bride, escorted by her father, wore a velvet gown of dec)) ivory tint with cowl neck, sleeves puffed at the shoulders, and a gracefully trained skirt. Her veil of fine tulle was caught with a circlet, of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of deep cream lilies and gladioli. Four bridesmaids Misses Joan Mackenzie (chief). Mary Bryson (niece of the bridegroom), Mary Mackenzie and Dorothy Smaill. attended her. the two former wearing turquoise georgette frocks and flower caps and carrying pink heath and gladioli. The two younger maids and a small trainbearer, Judy Biss. wore turquoise silk net frocks and circlets of flowers in their hair. They carried posies of heath and rosebuds. Dr. J. Maunsell was best man and Mr. T. Harty groomsman. Drs. J. A. -Doctor and" L. J. Hunter and Messrs. L. P. Da vies and T. Mackenzie were ushers. Mrs. Mackenzie wore a frock of chrysa iithe-green lace and georgette, with a picture hat to match, and her bouquet was of cyclamen shades. Dr. Elizabeth Bryson, the bridegroom's sister, wore royal-blue lace, and licr (lowers were of gold and autumn tints.
