She had been receiving medical attention at Government House. Sydney. Appreciation of the of the •Jewish Women's Benevolent Society in forwarding parcels of clothing for distribution among the poor and needy was expressed in a report from the Belief Committee received at a meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board yesterday. Mr. W. K. Howitt, chairman of the committee, said the clothing was mostlv new and fit to he worn by any child in the city. The recipients of garments were always grateful, but he did not think the majority of citizens knew (>f the magnificent work being carried on bv the Jewish women.
