SEVERAL MEN OVERWHELMED ALL BUT ONE RESCUED EFFORTS OF PRISON GANG By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received February 18. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 18 Several men were overwhelmed in the collapse of a concrete balcony which had just been erected at the nurses' quarters of the Tamworth Hospital. .Mr. Harry Shaw, clerk of works, was killed and fiv* others, all from Sydney, were injured. Mr. Shaw was smothered. The other men were in danger of the same fate when the matron appealed to the governor of the gaol in the vicinity and he organised a party of prisoners, who soon rescued all but Mr. Shaw-.
