HANDICAPS DEOLARED PROGRAMME FOR WEDNESDAY Handicaps for the second day of the Auckland Trotting Club's February meeting on Wednesday hare been declared by Mr. C. E. Goosman, as follows:

I TIME IMPROVEMENTS WORTHY LIGHT'S FAST RUN In spite of heavy rain during the week, the grass track at Epsom was in excellent order on Saturday. Some very fast times wore recorded, and good improvement was shown on handicap times. As usual tho greatest improvements were returned by the novice and improving horses. Tho placed horses in the Otahuhu Handicap showed n slight improvement, but in the Moss Davis Memorial Handicap the placed performers were a shade outside their handicaps. A very striking performance was credited to Worthy Light, who, in winning tho Railway Handicap in 2.45, from 2.54, went :t second faster than Auto Machine did in the big sprint off 2.43. The greatest improvements weio registered by the three placed horses in the Waibeke Handicap, the winner. King's Warrior, going 2.50 from 3.6. Whakahihi. winning his firat. race, improved on his handicap time by JI 4-ss, and Kitiiii bettered her handicap by lis in tho Trial Handicap. 'Tho following table shows (he improvements recorded: —
