NORTH BOHEMIAN PITS HUNGER STRIKE ENDED (Received February 4. 5.5 p.m.) PRAGUE, Feb. 3 A hunger strike by 500 miners in the North Bohemian pits extended to those underground, who refused to touch food sent down by their families. The men said they were determined to die before they would abandon their demands for higher wages. Some of the strikers suffered hunger convulsions. After negotiations had been carried on the hunger strike ended, but the miners who left the pits still refuse to resume work.
