TRADE NEGOTIATIONS
AUSTRALIA AND DOMINION RESUMPTION ON THURIDAY The negotiations that hare been going on between the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. R. Masters, and the Federal Minister of Commerce, the Hon. F. H. Stewart, with a view to removing the embargo on tho exchange of fruit and potatoes between the two countries, have been temporarily suspended to enable Mr. Stewart; to visit Eotorua and to attend th« celebrations at Waitangi. The three other Australian representatives who accompanied Mr. Stewart, Messrs. P. J. Horan, J. F. Murphy, and E„ Mackinnon, returned last even* ing to Wellington, where they will con* timie consultation with Dominion experts on the matters at issue. The negotiations will bo resumed .on the jreturn of the Ministers to Wellington on Thursday. Mr. Stewart will return to Australia by the Monowai, which leaves Wellington on Friday.
