WHANGAREI TOURNAMENT [from our ow.v correspondent"] WHANGAREI, Saturday The Whangarei Croquet Club's annual tournament was concluded to-day in overcast weather. Owing to the wet weather during the week, it was found impossible jo play any championship singles. Following are the results to-day's play:— Handicap Singles.—Mrs. Tebbutt beat Mrs. Ross, 20—13; Mrs. Allan (Auckland? 1 beat Mrs. Webber (Auckland), 2R—l3; Mrs. Walker beat Mrs. Webber, 26—23. Final: Mrs. Allan beat Mrs. Wilson, 2G—22. Championship Doubles.—Final: Mesdames Schubert and Baker (Auckland) beat Mesdames Walker and Wilson, 2G—2O.
