INDIAN AIR ROUTE
PARIS-BRINDISI STAGE AGREEMENT COMPLETED (Received February 2, 6.5 p.m.) ROME. Feb. 2 Lieutenant-Colonel F. C. Shelmerdine, Director of Civil Aviation, British Air Ministry, has reached an agreement with the Italian air authorities, which will enable the Paris-Brindisi section of the Anglo-Indian air route to be completed by air instead of by train, probably beginning in the summer. This will save one day on the journey. ____________
